Obesity is a medical condition described as an excess of body fat and is measured by the body mass index (BMI) and/or more accurately by measurement of the waistline at the point of the belly button with your breath being ingested at the normal level. BMI greater than 30 defines an obese individual. A waistline of 35 inches or more for women, and 40 inches or more for men categorizes them as obese.
